The key of B minor corresponds to that of Bach&rsquo;s other masterpieces: the Mass in B minor, and the orchestral suite in B minor, which features the flute (including the famous Badinerie).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -Andante<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -Largo e dolce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -Presto<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Arpeggione Sonata by Franz Schubert (1797-1823):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This sonata was composed at the end of Schubert&rsquo;s life, at the height of the 19th-century German Romantic period (of which Schubert was one of the masters). It was commissioned for the arpeggione, a short-lived 6-string instrument between the guitar and the cello. Fortunately, this sonata has survived him; transcribed, it is most often played on the cello. The lesser-known version for flute is nevertheless played in the original key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Allegro moderato<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Adagio<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Allegretto<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Waltz op.38 by Aleksandre Scriabin (1872-1915):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aleksandre Scriabin wrote his Valse for solo piano Op. 38, in 1903, which was a particularly fruitful year in his production. It was published one year later. The piece, in they key of A-flat major, has become one of the most popular and frequently performed of Scriabin\u2019s works. A typical performance lasts about 5 to 6 minutes.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fantaisie pastorale by Franz Doppler:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Albert Franz Doppler (1821-1883) was an Austro-Hungarian virtuoso flautist and composer, best known for his flute music. He also wrote operas and several ballets. His music evokes certain aspects of Russian and Hungarian music. He is best known for his orchestral arrangements of six of Franz Liszt&rsquo;s Hungarian Rhapsodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"collapseomatic \" id=\"id6a440e2bb01ba\"  tabindex=\"0\" title=\"Les interpr\u00e8tes\"    >Les interpr\u00e8tes<\/span><div id=\"target-id6a440e2bb01ba\" class=\"collapseomatic_content \"><br><strong>Cl\u00e9ment Lefebvre, pianist:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/clairdelune10.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Clement-au-piano-1-1024x682.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clairdelune10.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Clement-au-piano-1-1024x682.webp 1024w, https:\/\/clairdelune10.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Clement-au-piano-1-300x200.webp 300w, https:\/\/clairdelune10.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Clement-au-piano-1-768x512.webp 768w, https:\/\/clairdelune10.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Clement-au-piano-1.webp 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If there is a circle of poet-musicians, pianist Cl\u00e9ment Lefebvre is the torchbearer of his generation. His first CD, \u00ab\u00a0Rameau\/Couperin\u00a0\u00bb, released in 2018 by Evidence Classics and awarded a Diapason d&rsquo;Or D\u00e9couverte, revealed him as such to the public and the musical world. His second disc, dedicated to Ravel and released in November 2021, received the highest praise from Classica (Philippe Cassard, Jean-Charles Hoffel\u00e9, Alain Lompech).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He first studied in northern France, then in Paris when he was only ten, with Billy Eldi, then in Lille with Marc Lys and Jean-Michel Dayez, then at the Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatoire in Hortense Cartier-Bresson&rsquo;s class, and finally at the Paris Conservatoire: a pupil of Roger Muraro and Isabelle Dubuis, he also received guidance from Claire D\u00e9sert, Alain Plan\u00e8s and Pierre-Laurent Aimard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Winner of the Long-Thibaud-Crespin international competition in 2019, 1st Prize and Audience Prize at the James Mottram International Piano Competition in Manchester in 2016, his artistic career is taking solid shape: the Fondation Banque Populaire, the Fondation Safran and the M\u00e9c\u00e9nat Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale, the prestigious institutions of which he is a prizewinner, have placed their trust and support in him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He performs in numerous festivals and concerts in France and abroad (notably La Roque d&rsquo;Anth\u00e9ron, La Folle Journ\u00e9e de Nantes, the Chopin Festival in Paris&#8230;). As a soloist, he has had the privilege of performing in concerto with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre de la Garde R\u00e9publicaine and the Orchestre National de Metz, and recently completed a concert tour of Brazil, in recital and with the Brazilian National Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A sought-after chamber music partner, he is invited to share the stage with Philippe Bernold, Anne Queff\u00e9lec&#8230; He regularly performs as a duo with pianist Alexandre Lory. In 1985, he won first prize at the Concours National de Jeunes Interpr\u00e8tes de la Ville de Dunkerque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jean-Fran\u00e7ois exercises his musical talents in a wide variety of fields, which are all ways in which he serves his art:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A flutist with the Aube Symphony Orchestra from 2013 to 2022, he is also a passionate conductor: he directed the Ensemble Instrumental Musiques d&rsquo;Autan (professional musicians) for 10 years, with whom he recorded Stravinsky&rsquo;s The Soldier\u2019s Tale (2002), directed the Ensemble \u00e0 Vents du Conservatoire de Rodez until 2012 (selected at the Budapest International Youth Festival in 1995), and directed the Troyes Conservatory Symphony Orchestra until 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chamber music occupies a privileged place, whether as a duo with Danish pianist Nanna Hansen, with whom he recorded a CD in 2004 (distributed by Musicast), or with harpist B\u00e9atrice Guillermin in the Piacevole duo, with whom he recorded a CD in 2018 and performs extensively (France, Switzerland), or as a trio (Trio Nymph\u00e9a: flute, viola and harp), or in various more occasional formations with strings or winds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has initiated and collaborated on numerous original projects, notably within the Clair de Lune association, whose quality has always been praised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Holder of the Certificat d&rsquo;Aptitude, he has been teaching flute and chamber music since 2012 at the Conservatoire \u00e0 Rayonnement D\u00e9partemental \u00ab\u00a0Marcel Landowski\u00a0\u00bb in Troyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Simoine and Cl\u00e9ment Lefebvre already played together in 2009, when Cl\u00e9ment Lefebvre was just 19 and entering the CNSM of Paris.
